Modesty and Nudity

This post is more or less an opinion of mine and only mine, those who wish to disagree I will not condemn them for it.
I have started my Avacyn Bathory modeling independently for quite some time now. My goal? To give the class and elegant look of an old fashioned modest woman, this is just simply my preference of style as I am mostly attracted to that particular image.
This goal may seem easy to achieve, however I find it quite to be the contrary of my expectations. On my instagram, I choose to share posts of quotes, tips of etiquette and of course showing that fashion is art.
I have found throughout others that although this may be appealing to some, yet I keep receiving messages to “show more.”
Now this bothers me quite a bit, when women post images of them practically naked, to which I found out the term of these girls to be known as “Instagram whores,” (not trying to insult, this is not a term I made up trust me. I do not like this term myself) yet, I can quickly notice the audience is much larger than mine. I don’t feel like I need to be in competition considering these girls are portraying another form of beauty, which is simply nudity. A woman’s body is beautiful, yet I find it’s easier to show your “cash and prizes” rather than keeping anything to the imagination. Mind you, I take into full account that modesty empowers many, as well as nudity does to some as well, we all have preferences.
I am currently studying marketing so I can clearly indicate that sex sells far more than anything else when it comes to entertainment. I had almost fallen into this trend when offered to become a suicide girl. I was ecstatic when receiving this offer, however I had noticed unlike before, the girls are nude. I had contacted the HQ and asked them if there was a way I could avoid this criterion and still be a suicide girl.
Unfortunately, as in their contract it states that you HAVE to be fully nude.
I was not happy with this; therefore, I declined the opportunity to be a suicide girl. This decision did not bring tears of disappointment to my eyes, if anything; this decision empowered me to pursue as an elegant, stylish corporate goth. I would much rather dress myself up and display my “artistic” side through fashion.
I mean, we spend so much money either making or buying clothing, why would I want to take it off to an audience that won’t appreciate my statement?

As I stated above in the beginning of this post, I do not condemn girls for showing their goods in order to gain recognition or to feel confident, I’m certain they all do it for many reasons that I cannot hold judgement over.
Deep down, I want to be one of the many examples that modesty is classy and elegance is also art. I guess what I am trying to say is that, we all have our forms of beauty, and we are all beautiful in our own way. It’s been difficult for me in the past to conform to the “sex sells,” modeling lifestyle, but I have chosen my path, to which I wish not to show nudity. Fashion is one of the greatest things our species have obtained as we can manipulate it, create it and embrace it.
